NORWICH – A former Chenango Memorial Hospital registered nurse was arrested and charged with two felonies, as well as two misdemeanors.
Sarah Elizabeth Wilson, 28, of Sherburne, is charged with one count of falsifying business records in the first degree, a class E felony; one count of endangering the welfare of an incompetent person in the first degree, a class E felony; one count of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor; and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
According to New York State Penal Law, a person is found guilty of endangering the welfare of an incompetent person in the first degree, 'when he or she knowingly acts in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a person who is unable to care for himself or herself because of physical disability, mental disease or defect.'
